Privacy and third-party services

Privacy policy

This policy explains common information flows for the site and the independent services visitors choose to open.

Privacy policy

Information handled by the site

Web hosting and security systems may process standard request details such as IP address, device and browser information, requested pages, time and referrer. Email messages include the information you choose to provide. This static guide has no visitor account or form-based booking system.

Saved places and weather

The trip shortlist is saved in your browser’s local storage so you can keep a plan on that device. It is not sent to this site’s server and does not synchronize across devices. Clearing browser storage removes it. The weather card requests a forecast for a fixed Park City location from Open-Meteo; that provider says its API may receive IP addresses and request URLs for technical monitoring. The card does not request your device’s precise location.

Advertising and cookies

Some visitor-guide and directory pages include Google AdSense code. When ads are served, Google and participating third-party advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver, measure and protect ads. These technologies may be used to show ads based on visits to this site or other sites, where permitted. Google explains how it uses data on partner sites and provides a business data responsibility overview. You can review personalized-ad choices through Google Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page. Other ad technology providers may participate depending on the account configuration. Google explains how publishers choose those providers in its AdSense provider controls; the active selection and any regional consent controls can change.

External services and referrals

Directory and guide links can open businesses, maps, review services, resorts, agencies, event organizers and affiliate networks. Some booking links contain referral identifiers. The destination or network may receive standard connection information and apply its own cookies or privacy rules after you follow the link. Its privacy notice governs that service.

Email and contact

Messages sent to info@visitparkcityutah.org are used to respond, investigate corrections or handle rights and privacy requests. Do not send payment information or sensitive personal details. Operational or legal records may be retained as reasonably needed for security, correction history or legal obligations.
